After the game, Bayern’s sporting director Christoph Freund revealed that Kane twisted his ankle.

He remarked: “We hope it’s not that bad. It was a precautionary measure that he went out.

“Harry twisted his ankle and the area had to be cooled down.

“He won’t take any risks with the national team.”

Thomas Tuchel was also asked about Kane’s situation, where he said: “He collided with the post and twisted his ankle a bit – he had his ankle iced.

“There’s still no diagnosis, we have to wait. I hope it’s nothing bad.”

They can be fine in a few days, but if there is a sprain, you are looking at possibly six to 12 weeks.
