Since that win, the American middleweight has endured a mixed career, while Allen has won every fight.

He was meant to face Marvin Vettori, but he suffered an injury, meaning Curtis has stepped in.

This rematch promises to be a tasty clash, and the whole event serves as the perfect warm-up for UFC 300 next weekend.

UFC Fight Night 240: What has been said?

Vettori revealed earlier this year that he wouldn’t be taking part in UFC Fight Night 240 because of an injury.

He said: “I wanted to tell you myself, I’m not going to fight on April 6th.

“I got hurt. It was kind of a freak accident, and I can’t go into a fight hurt.

“It’s the first time I’m pulling out of any bout.”
