Luke Littler has Gary Neville over Roy Keane, Cristiano Ronaldo over Wayne Rooney but David Beckham the big winner in Man United ‘winner stays on’

Luke Littler hailed David Beckham, Gary Neville and Cristiano Ronaldo in a game of Manchester United ‘winner stays on’.

The darts sensation was partaking in the game during an interview with Sky Sports in which he was given the names of two Manchester United stars whom he would pick his favourite.

While only 17, Littler is a big Man United fan and has seen some brilliant players since his birth in 2007, but that doesn’t mean that he doesn’t appreciate those who came before him.

In a clip shared before his Premier League appearance in Dublin, Littler said: “Hi, I’m Luke Littler, and this is winner stays on.”

To start with, Gary Neville was pitted against another Sky Sports pundit in Roy Keane, with Littler choosing Neville as his pick.

Rio Ferdinand was the next name to crop up, with Ferdinand being preferred – most likely due to being someone who Littler will actually remember watching.

David Beckham was next up, but while Littler didn’t see him in action, his legendary status was enough beat Ferdinand.

Despite moving to Real Madrid in 2003 – four years before Littler was born – the darts sensation picked Beckham again when pitted against current club captain Bruno Fernandes, declaring: “It’s got to be David.”

Golden Balls then beat Ruud van Nistelrooy, meaning that Beckham had now beat three consecutive Man United players.

But he wasn’t done yet, with Littler choosing Beckham over both Paul Scholes and Eric Cantona.

After seeing off five Man United legends, Beckham was eventually seen off by Wayne Rooney, with Littler explaining: “I’ll probably go Wayne Rooney over David Beckham because I witnessed more of Rooney than David.”

Despite seeing off Becks, it was a familiar face who could out victorious overall with Littler declaring Cristiano Ronaldo the winner after picking the Portuguese superstar over Rooney.

Ronaldo knows exactly what it’s like to shoot to superstardom at a young age and if Littler can get anywhere near to the sort of dominance that CR7 has managed, he’ll be doing just fine.
