Harry Kane breaks more Bundesliga records as he adds to outrageous goal contribution tally against Mainz


Harry Kane has netted another two goals to add to his incredible number of goal contribution at Bayern Munich.

The England captain scored twice against Mainz on Saturday. He has now scored or assisted 43 goals this season, more than any other player in Europe’s Top 5 Leagues.

Kane is also the first player to score two or more goals in eight different games in his first Bundesliga season. The previous record was set by Uwe Seeler and Friedhelm Konietzka in 1963/64 and Toni Polster in 1993/94)

The 30-year-old’s 34 goals and nine assists have been key for Bayern in an other wise underwhelming season for the Bundesliga champions.
