England vs Belgium LIVE: Mainoo, Toney and Konsa set for first Three Lions start against Red Devils at Wembley

England vs Belgium: Team news

Kobbie Mainoo, Ivan Toney and Ezri Konsa are all set to make their first England start tonight.

Kyle Walker picked up a knock and was substituted against Brazil, with that problem meaning he has now left the camp.

Harry Maguire and Sam Johnstone have also both had their international break cut short.

The three exits have meant Gareth Southgate has had to call up two players from the Under 21s, with Rico Lewis and James Trafford joining the senior side.

Declan Rice will captain his country for the first time on his 50th cap with Harry Kane out.

As for Belgium, Luton goalkeeper Thomas Kaminski is expected to start in goal.

Jeremy Doku will be eyeing a start and so will Romelu Lukaku who didn’t play a minute of the Red Devils’ last game.

England vs Belgium

Hello and welcome to talkSPORT.com’s live blog of England’s international friendly against Belgium!

The Three Lions will be aiming to bounce back from their first home defeat since 2020, live on talkSPORT.

Gareth Southgate’s side were beaten 1-0 by Brazil on Saturday night as 17-year-old starlet Endrick scored a late winner for Selecao.

Southgate has come under more criticism since the loss and needs a win here to prove his side are good enough ahead of Euro 2024.

His men welcome the Red Devils who kicked off their run-in to the summer’s tournament with a 0-0 draw against the Republic of Ireland at the weekend.
