Harry Kane has revealed his expert assist for Jamal Musiala is all down to his former link-up play with ex-Tottenham teammate Son Heung-min.

The England skipper was the star of the show once again for Bayern Munich as they secured an astonishing 8-1 victory over Mainz.

Kane helped himself a hat-trick at the Allianz Arena on Saturday afternoon.

It is his fourth treble of the Bundesliga – the most any player has achieved in their debut season in Germany.

And he also supplied two assists, with his stunning pass to Musiala in the second half wowing fans.

Picking up the ball from the right flank, he found his run with an expert curling switch.

Musiala, who himself assisted Kane’s first goal, was then able to cut in from the left wing to bury into the bottom corner.

Premier League fans might be wondering where they had seen the assist before, with Kane revealing it was straight from the Spurs playbook.

Kane explained: “At Spurs, Son would always make that run and I’d always look for that pass.

“So I spoke to Jamal about it and I caught him out the corner of my eye today.
