2025 S JaDon Blair sets official visit

For some reason, Michigan football isn’t looked at as a haven of top-rated safeties in college football, yet, it has had a lot of success at the position.

Even those who weren’t elite as recruits ended up having pretty nice pro careers. While five-stars such as Jabrill Peppers and Daxton Hill certainly draw headlines, there have been those such as Jarrod Wilson and Josh Metellus who have carved out a niche in the NFL through the years.

At the moment, Rod Moore and Makari Paige have locked down the roles while Quinten Johnson bolsters the group and Zeke Berry hopes for a bigger opportunity in 2024.

Michigan is garnering attention from top safeties, still, and one of them intends to visit Ann Arbor and to do so officially. 2025 Winston-Salem (N.C.) Mount Tabor four-star safety JaDon Blair may have a 247Sports Crystal Ball prediction indicating he’ll end up at Notre Dame, but he won’t make that type of decision before checking out the maize and blue. Blair announced on X (formerly Twitter) that he will be making an official visit to the Wolverines from June 14-16 — the weekend before quarterback commit Carter Smith makes his way to campus.

Blair is listed at 6-foot-4, 190 pounds, and is the No. 143 player in the 2025 recruiting class, according to the 247Sports Composite.

Penn State, North Carolina, and Virginia Tech also appear to be top contenders for his services.
